William D. Smitherman, Sr.
William D. Smitherman, Sr. is a retired Senior Executive Service Director from the U.S. Department of Labor. He is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Labor Management and Certification as a Paralegal. He is an author and President of Absolute Mediation and Arbitration Services, LLC. and a Certified Senior Alternative Dispute Resolution mediator.
William’s interest in writing stories for children began several years ago as he read and told stories, as a volunteer, to children at local children’s hospitals, community centers, and among friends and family members.
This story of Henry Lee Turtle, and others to follow, are told to inspire children of all ages around the world. This includes and is not limited to the young and young at heart, individuals with personal health challenges, and others with special needs, as they look for fun, adventure, and better days ahead.
